Thin porcelain shells are bonded to the front teeth to change their shape, alignment and shade. A typical schedule is preparation and impressions on day 1 and bonding on day 3–4, with temporary veneers in between. A small amount of enamel is removed and does not grow back.

Good to know
- Allow at least 4 days in Korea for the two appointments.
- Enamel preparation cannot be undone, so discuss alternatives with the dentist first.
- Do not bite nails, ice or hard shells, as porcelain can chip.
- Temporary veneers are fragile; avoid sticky food until the final bonding.

How many teeth are usually done?
Commonly the 6–8 upper front teeth, though the dentist advises based on your smile line.
How long do they last?
Often 10–15 years with good hygiene and regular check-ups.
Will they look natural?
Shade and shape are agreed with you before fabrication, and you can ask to see a mock-up at consultation.
What if one chips later?
A single veneer can usually be replaced, so plan for a local dentist to handle maintenance after you return home.
